On April 4 2018, a request was made to Toronto East York Community Council to direct city staff to undertake a study of traffic — foot, bike and vehicle — in and around the new Mirvish Village.
“The purpose of this review and planning process is to ensure a smooth transition and sympathetic fit between the new and the existing, historic neighbourhoods, so that there are benefits to both. A careful process on this site will be of great value to the City for its future planning of many similar developments in the context of historic neighbourhoods”
