The Mirvish Village Task Group was formed in 2014 to gather and share the views of residents and to keep them informed about the proposed development of the Mirvish Village/Honest Ed’s site by Westbank Corporation.
The MVTG works closely with city Councillors Layton and Cressy, Planning Staff, including Graig Uens and Liora Freedman, with other City staff from Heritage (Planning), Transportation and the Parks Department. The MVTG continues to collaborate with Westbank Projects Corp, site architect Gregory Henriquez, and with associates from Brooks Pooni and Urban Strategies to ensure neighbourhood presence and perspective is represented throughout the demolition and construction process.
